The SSW:
Accepts a report of death when the allegations indicate the following:
The adult died as a result of abuse or neglect.
Also accepts reports regarding children who witness the homicidal incident of a parent or guardian, or were victims of the homicidal incident perpetrated by a caretaker as outlined in SOP contained in Chapter 2 Child Protective Services (CPS) Intake and Investigation.
