The Cabinet conducts a check of the central registry for an individual, organization or other entity if the information being requested is permitted by law. The Division of Protection and Permanency, Records Management Section processes all central registry checks. Individuals not permitted by law as described in this SOP to obtain information contained in the central registry may submit an open records request as discussed in SOP 30.11 Open Records and Disclosure of Information.
The Division for Protection and Permanency, Records Management Section will generate all correspondence regarding central registry checks. The field does not generate any correspondence regarding central registry checks.
